Announcing our second portfolio company: Alloy!

Hello friends and supporters,

We couldn’t be happier to announce the addition of our second portfolio company, Alloy. Alloy is a “precision storytelling and experiences agency for imaginative technology brands.” Unlike traditional agencies, Alloy’s solutions cover the full spectrum of marketing needs — from PR and comms to brand and digital — giving clients a leg up with greater alignment across the entire business and user journey. Since 2012, Alloy has been named a 10-time Best Place to Work, Technology Agency of the Year, Fastest Growing PR Agency, and recognized more than 20 times for UX and UI design. Here’s a good overview of our new partnership.

Raj Choudhury, founder of Alloy, will remain the CEO of the company while also working with me to lead Purpose Group forward. Raj and I started our first business together in 1998 (Spunlogic) and the opportunity to once again work with him is quite simply a dream come true. Here’s a look at our history together (complete with fairly hilarious old photos of us “back in the day.”)

Alloy joins Gerald Printing & Liberty Imaging as the second company in our portfolio, and I couldn’t imagine a better start to our fund. We’ve made a great deal of progress in a year and a half, with over 125 employees, north of $25 million in revenue, and offices throughout the Southeast.
